Sun Protection
The Philippines is warm and tropical, and while there is a wet season, UV rays still penetrate the clouds. Packing sun protection is vitally important. Several brands of quick-dry clothing also provide a measure of sun protection, and even insect repellent, woven into the cloth for an added benefit.
